Speaking at the Paula Radcliffe Centre

Ian Rowe is speaking about his Atlantic Odyssey (mis)adventure this evening at the Paula Radcliffe Centre in Sharnbrook. Members will hear about how he prepared for the trip mentally and physically – and how the real thing differed from how he thought it would be.

An insight into the enormity of the challenge, the rigours of getting through each day, rowing for 28 days and 2,200 miles - and not least how the crew survived their capsize and were rescued with just 500 miles to go. Images from the trip are here.
