Global engineering and technology company Siemens PLC have partnered Gold Fever UK Limited to visit Siemens partner schools around the country as part of their Corporate Responsibility.

Siemens seek to recruit employees who have an ethos of being the best they can be; the company also sponsor the Great Britain rowing team, arguably the country’s most successful Olympic sport which has a track record of golden success since the 1984 Olympics.

Combining these two aspects Siemens commissioned a video, Be the Best You Can Be, with current athletes and medal winners speaking about their own challenging journeys, their goals and their motivation. This speaks very powerfully to participants in the Gold Fever workshops which relate this sporting challenge and success to everyday lives, be they in school, the workplace or at home.

Feedback from the visits has been overwhelmingly positive.
